What do I get with the $29 Pro purchase?
You receive private GitHub collaborator access to the AI Cost Gate Pro source after checkout. Deploy on your own infrastructure with SQLite or Postgres, keep release updates, and run cost attribution plus budget auto-stop locally. There is no mandatory hosted metering subscription.
Is AI Cost Gate a subscription?
No. Pro is a one-time source license. You self-host forever after purchase. Optional companion utilities at tools.aicostgate.com remain free and separate from the Pro gateway.
How does GitHub delivery work?
You do not need a Portal account. Provide a GitHub username, pay on Creem with your email, then check that inbox: the confirmation email includes the private repo URL and the GitHub invite link. The webhook also invites that GitHub account as a read-only collaborator.
Do you store my prompts?
AI Cost Gate is designed for metadata-oriented cost control. Deploy so prompt bodies stay on your side. The marketing portal does not need your production prompts to sell or deliver Pro.
Can I use AI Cost Gate with LiteLLM?
Yes. Many teams keep LiteLLM for multi-provider routing and place AI Cost Gate in the path for attribution and hard budget stops. See the compare page for the boundary between proxy and gate.
